Virgin Media
Football
To position Virgin Media as on the side of fans, they ran a campaign to keep match tickets affordable
I wrote this film to leverage that and promote their football offering.
The challenge:
Virgin Media were up against established giants in football coverage.
They needed credibility without being able to rely on the spending power of BT Sport or SKY.
Solution:
Brilliantly, due to loophole that nobody had really questioned, they could somehow sponsor a Premiership team without it being a conflict of interest.
Which conveniently meant I had a stadium at my disposal to film in.
To position themselves as on the side of the fans, Virgin Media ran an initiative to keep match tickets affordable.
I wrote this film to leverage that and promote their football offering.
