Ryobi Tools

Alongside a interchangeable script system that meant different edits could highlight particular tools dependant on audience or season, there was also all the accompanying e-com content which totalled thousands of deliverable assets.

As the modular battery system meant that new products could be introduced constantly, there was an additional challenge of having to future proof the creative so that new items could be dropped into edits without the need for a brand new shoot.

Logistically, getting the entire product range to South Africa for some guaranteed sunshine to shoot it all in, is nothing compared to trying to locate some uncut grass that looked sufficiently ‘European’ to satisfy all the stakeholders. Certainly made for some memorable PPMs.

Weirdly, this is the second time I’ve encountered this grass issue for a shoot. It may also explain why I astroturfed my garden.
